Friends

Of all the things I have in this world, some of my most treasured things are my friends.

There are some that I absolutely treasure and would do anything for. There are some I keep at somewhat of a distance and there are some who pop in and out periodically, but always seem to manage to be around when I need them most. I still don't understand how that happens, but there you have it.

Recently I've been going through a bit of a rough funk and I have been extremely glad I've had my support system who let me know that I'm not on crack for some decisions I have been considering. And then, out of the blue, I got an e-mail from a friend who's not exactly close, but good like that when it counts. She sent me a link to something that made me almost snort my coffee out all over my computer screen.
